Justin Bieber, the new metalhead in town, has taken out time from making weird pop tunes for teens and expressed his love for metal yet again. An impromptu cover of "Fade To Black" by Metallica by the "Baby" singer can be viewed below.

The 15-second long clip features Bieber strumming his air guitar while he tries to "nail" the guitar solo from the first single from "Ride the Lightning" album by the American metal giants, Metallica.

Last year, during an interview with GQ, Bieber revealed that he is a big Metallica fan and "Fade To Black" and "One" (from "And Justice for All") are his favourite tracks composed by the band.

In the video, Bieber's music director Dan Kanter accompanies him with the acoustic guitar.

Earlier this year, Peter Mensch, manager for Metallica, told The Sun he wants to take Bieber to the woodshed for a nice spanking session. Mensch witnessed Bieber's childish behaviour in the past.

He was asked to remark on Beiber's weird behaviour, who has allegedly seen the singer being caught speeding around his neighbourhood and getting into arguments with the residents.

Mensch told The Sun that he has warned Beiber in the past that his behaviour and acts would ruin his musical career. He also said that Bieber's career is over in three years anyway.

Metal fans are hoping that Bieber won't sing the song ("Fade To Black") onstage in any of his upcoming concerts. The so-called rendition of the hit song has invited backlash from the metal fans as they slam and thrash Bieber's attempt to attempt the song.

We wonder if Metallica would return the favour by coming up with a cover of one of Bieber's tunes (hopefully, they will not). But then again, Metallica has collaborated with non-metal musicians in the past, so you never know.

For now we leave you with Bieber's version of "Fade To Black."
