Justin Bieber Egging Scandal: Singer’s iPhone Confiscated for Evidence, Might be Deported to Canada
Justin Bieber is allegedly worried about the racy photos and drug talks in his iPhone which the police might find out. However, according to Daily News, police has ruled out the plans to interrogate Justin over naked photos or drug chats.
"He doesn't have to worry about drug talk or naked pictures. It's pretty widely known the kid smokes weed. A search warrant based on drug talk is not going to happen," said Lt. David Thompson (Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department) on Thursday.
"And the whole world has naked pictures on their phones. With Justin Bieber, at his level, it might be people we know, so it might be a concern for him. But he doesn't have to worry," added David.
He cleared that the police department is majorly looking for evidence related to the egging.
"We're looking for images or information related to the egging. Nothing else is getting out. It's safe in the hands of law enforcement."
David mentioned he personally talked to Justin Bieber in his kitchen on Tuesday morning while other 11 detectives searched the entire mansion in Calabasas, California.
TMZ.com reported that police took away his mobile phone from his hands and the pop star is worried about the content, especially the naked pictures and drug talks.
Justin Bieber is under investigation for reportedly throwing more than a dozen eggs at his neighbour's house last Thursday. He caused damages worth $20,000.
"Justin was worried about our search video getting out too. But I told him it was the law, and that it wasn't going to get out either," said David.
He assured that they are not doing any sting operation but only looking for evidence related to the egging scandal.
Lt. David also mentioned that Justin's buddy Xavier (Lil Za) Smith was arrested because they found drugs in his bedroom. The budding rapper reportedly confirmed that they were his.
Justin Bieber to be Deported?
According to a post on Oceanup, Justin Bieber might be deported to Canada after the egg-hurling scandal. He is in the U.S. on work visa, if convicted, he could be sent back to Ontario.
"If Justin is charged with felony vandalism and convicted, it's very likely his work visa, allowing him to live in the United States, would be revoked. It could be categorised as a crime of moral turpitude under United States immigration law," mentioned the law enforcement.
