One adorable couple who are not safe from such assumptions, rumors and scandals would be the "Jelena" duo. Web tabloids from all over have been saying the same thing: Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber have finally broken up. Are these rumors true or false?

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been together for almost 18 months. Before the duo even jumped on the "relationship" bandwagon, Selena and Justin started out as the best of friends. Despite the one year age gap, the "Jelena" duo has never been caught in immature fights teenagers around their age would usually be in.

Both coming from the same family backgrounds of having been raised by a single mother, Selena & Justin understand each others' point of view. Though both have separate busy careers, Justin always makes time for Selena and Gomez does the same for Bieber. Ironically, web tabloids have been claiming that both stars have been fed up with the distance and the constant time away from each other that both have called it quits.

TMZ had originally reported earlier in the month of June that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have broke up multiple times. The couple had only reconciled when the chance to meet up arose. Well, this in itself is sketchy. Selena and Justin, who have known each other for so long and the details of each other's personal lives, would be fighting over distance and time issues?

If fans may recall, during Selena Gomez's concert at Brazil, Justin Bieber flew a thousand miles to get to where Selena was simply to spend time with Gomez. From that point alone, distance doesn't seem to be an issue. As for time spent together, when the chance arises, Selena and Justin always have time to go on fancy dates, hang out with friends or even spend time at the beach. So who started all the talk about the break up?

"The source says that the two are in extreme puppy love and a breakup is 'the furthest thing from the truth you could imagine'," reports E! Online.
