Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift's Missing Duet
Justin Bieber is quite busy promoting his album, "Believe" over the world. While fans of the Canadian crooner are definitely happy with the album, some are questioning about the promised collaboration between Justin and Taylor Swift. Earlier in the year, Justin Bieber mentioned to be working together with Swift on a song for his next album but where is it now?
In an interview with Rolling Stone last April, Justin Bieber excitedly admitted that he was working on collaboration with country crooner, Taylor Swift. Now, the news definitely perked the ears of Swift and Bieber fans alike.
"It's crazy," said Bieber in an interview with Capital FM last April, adding, "I mean I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently."
Even girlfriend, Selena Gomez, exclaimed about the collaboration saying that she had heard them make music together and that it was definitely beautiful. So, would the song have a bit of a country mix to it?
"It doesn't stay in a box," explained Bieber, adding, "Everything is so different and that's why I'm so happy with this album."
Yet, now that the album, "Believe" is finally out, where has the Taylor Swift collaboration gone to? Even the so-called collaboration with Adam Levine and Kanye West were obviously missing from the track list. What gives Justin Bieber? Well, Scooter Braun, Bieber's manager, explains everything to the 18-year olds fans.
"It didn't go on Believe because there's another record they want to work on," said Braun. "So, it just didn't make sense at this time, and the song they did just didn't make sense on this album," continued Scooter. As for the Kanye West collaboration, Braun claimed that it simply ""didn't make sense at this time."
Fans of Swift, West and Levine who have hoped of hearing collaboration with the teenage heartthrob won't be expecting anything this year. However, news is, Justin is set to collaborate with the British boy band, One Direction. Still, maybe Justin Bieber should stick to his first promises of collaborating with Swift, Levine and West before moving on to bigger fish.
