The weed issue that Bieber is currently involved in continues to be the talk of the town and quite a controversy among fans and celebrities alike. While some sources have claimed it as a way of Justin to prove he's all grown up, some say it's his method of trying to get over ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. From the issue becoming a trending topic on Twitter to being praised for smoking pot, here's all there is to know about the latest scandal Bieber has gotten himself into.

All thanks to TMZ, a photo of Bieber smoking an obvious blunt has gone viral in minutes. Clearly, the said photo was what paparazzi, Chris Guerra had wanted to capture hours before his untimely accident leading to his death. Representatives of Bieber still have not spoken up on the issue and Bieber's indirect statement on Twitter has led fans to think the worst.

Now, some "Beliebers" have gone to extremes of helping stop Bieber from smoking weed. Yesterday, the tag #cutforbieber became a worldwide trending topic. A member, obviously an addicted and obsessed Justin Bieber fan, had gone on to say that fans should "start cutting themselves for the said campaign."

This campaign had caused quite a lot of enraged fans on Twitter and even one celebrity spoke up regarding the issue. Miley Cyrus immediately took to Twitter to speak out her thoughts.

"If people are really saying they are gonna cut themselves cuz Justin Bieber could've smoked some weed the world really is coming to an end," stated Miley which was then followed up by, "I really hope this cutting shit is just a bunch of punk ass haters that have nothing better to do & no one out there harming themselves."

Daily Dot however made a different approach with regards to the campaign with a statement as follows: "Tweet a bunch of pics of people cutting themselves and claim we did it because bieber was smoking weed. See if we can get some little girls to cut themselves."

While some have clearly been aggravated by the said campaign and Justin's weed involvement, Tommy Chong of Cheech & Chong praised Bieber for smoking weed.

"Of course! I knew [Bieber] was smoking before he knew it. Because of his music. Because of his dancing," said Chong, adding, "The guy is a phenom.. It's not just his looks. It's his talent. And you don't get talent like that by drinking alcohol. The herb, man! The herb! Weed is mainstream as can be."
