Justin Bieber got really bad publicity when he reportedly called an overweight Australian teenage girl a "beached whale" some time back. However there was another story published by a website called National Report which said that the same girl, who was embarrassed by Justin, has now committed suicide. The website called the girl by the name Julie Gunn and even had her picture.

The story has been shared more than 200 thousand times on Facebook and around 2000 times on Twitter. Hundreds of people have blasted Bieber and his insensitivity towards the overweight girl. However everyone fails to notice that the website does not publish all real news and is actually a fake news website.

"National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways," writes a disclaimer on the website.

The story, "Justin Bieber's 'Beached Whale' Comment Leads To Teen Girl's Suicide," has been blamed the 19-year-old Canadian crooner for hurting the feeling of the teenager named Gunn and call her the "the pudgy sunbather." She was found dead in her apartment by one of her friend and the cause of death has been alcohol abuse and sleeping pills overdose, according to the website.

According to one of her friends, Julie lived a normal life prior to Justin Bieber's cruel comment which ridiculed her excessive weight gain. But she was made a subject of jokes after Justin's comment. "Everywhere she went after that, people just couldn't help themselves from taking a jab at the Justin Bieber whale girl. The insults were relentless," the website quoted Julie's friend as saying.

The incident reportedly took place in real at the Hyatt Regency in Perth, Australia where Beiber went over to the teenage girl and told her she resembles a "beached whale" and she should participate on "The Biggest Loser."

Though the incident actually happened but there are certainly no proofs that the girl committed suicide. The girl's real name has also been kept under wraps till now. The National Report website has been gaining good media attention by combining actually incidents with fake news. Its earlier fake stories include the one which referred to a "rape festival" in India.

Justin Bieber's fans need not worry about the "Believe" singer garnering negative publicity as the story is NOT true. So all you Beliebers, spread the word. Though we still believe that it was insensitive of Justin to make fun of a fat girl and he should refrain from doing so to avoid getting in trouble.
