Chantel Jeffries, rumoured new girlfriend of Justin Bieber who accompanied him at the time of his latest arrest, has spoken up for the first time. The 21-year-year old has called whatever happened with her as "wrong" and is not very happy about being linked to a celebrity, TMZ reports. Jeffries has also denied media allegations that she has ever been arrested or was involved in any wrongful incident that night.

According to previous reports in media, Chantel - who was driving in the same vehicle in as Justin Bieber was, has reportedly been accused of assault with a deadly weapon (a knife) and reckless driving at an alleged speed of 92 miles per hour. But the blonde beauty denies all charges.

"I have not been arrested five times as has been stated in the media, nor am I guilty of physically assaulting anyone, in any way shape or form," the blonde beauty told TMZ.

According to Matt Morgan, Chantel's legal attorney, Bieber's girlfriend was actually arrested for a misdemeanour assault when she was 18 but was ultimately released due to lack of any proof against her, TMZ reports.

Chantel has been seen parading in a skimpy bikini in Panama with Justin Bieber. The two seem to be enjoying their together time but various media agencies have labelled her actions as "publicity hungry" and wanting to stay in the limelight.

"I am a full time student who had enjoyed a normal lifestyle, free from public scrutiny and criticism, until now," Chantel told TMZ denying the fact that she likes her linkup with Bieber.

"What has happened to me is wrong," the blonde added. It is not clear if Chantel is talking about her affair with Justin Bieber as "wrong" or his arrest as "wrong." Various media outlets believe the latter!

Jeffries first came to limelight when Justin himself posted a picture of her on his Instagram page saying, "@chanteljeffries taking me for a ride in the lambo." However after a few hours, Justin deleted the picture and kept his fans guessing who the blonde is.

Chantel's is a "student, model, eyebrow connoisseur, animal lover, and deep thinker" from Jacksonville, North Carolina, according to her Twitter account. She now reportedly lives in Los Angeles.
