"She became a victim to my busy schedule, and I know that it's not fair. That doesn't mean that I don't care, this one's dedicated to the girl out there," is the lyrics of Justin Bieber's "Flatline." Released alongside his new album "Journals," "Flatline" is not included in his new album but a bonus track on iTunes.

Released on Dec. 23, the new single begins with an intense beeping from a heart monitor and then comes Bieber's new smooth R&B beats. "Journals" is Justin's most contemplative album and its leaning towards R&B judging in most his songs featured in the album.

The singer's Christmas gift to all his loyal fans, 'Flatline" is available as a free download from iTunes and it talks about a failed relationship due to his busy schedules. Once again, it's hard not to connect this song to the current situation of the singer since his very public breakup with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Through this song fans can get a little more insight on what's going on Justin's head during his breakup as the girl eventually "pulled the plug," causing his heart to flatline. "She became a victim to my busy schedule / Girl you always catch me at the bad time / How could you pull the plug and let me flatline?
Flatline," Justin's sings on his new song.

"Flatline" is a bit stronger compare to his other songs in the album and the Canadan singer is definitely in the right direction if he wants to move on from his teenybopper pop idol to a respected full-pledge adult act.

Justin Bieber's New Album "Journals"

Originally due out last Monday, Dec. 16, "Journals" was unveiled seven days after its released date because Justin wanted to add a new song. "Flatline" was released alongside his new album with 15 tracks featuring his collaboration with R. Kelly on "PYD," Sean Big and Diplo on "Memphis," and Lil Wayne on "Backpack."

The album boats some of Justin's most revealing lyrics to date as it talks mainly about surviving a really bad breakup. "I realized my fans want to know truly what's in my heart in my heart, and I just wanted to share with them. And I wanted them to know, word for word, what I was feeling at that moment," says Bieber during his interview with MTV News.
