The rumoured love triangle between Selena Gomez, her on-and-off boyfriend Justin Bieber and Yovanna Ventura seems to have come to a standstill. Justin's pal Yovanna has not only praised Selena on one of the fan's Instagram page, but also took her side when a user on the social media website called Selena a "slut." The 18-year-old was spotted hanging out with Justin Bieber in July and also posted the "Baby" singer's pictures on her Instagram account.

The incident of Yovanna defending Selenita happened on Instagram on October 4 when an Instagram fan account named "TeamOfSelly" posted a recent picture of the Texan beauty Gomez and tagged Yovanna's Instagram account "YoVentura" asking her the following. "Yovanna, describe Selena in 5 words tag her."

The fitness model from Miami who has earlier complimented Justin by calling him the "sweetest guy ever" had all good words for Selena, too. Yovanna said that she can only come up with one word for the "Come And Get It Singer" and that is "bella." In Italian language "bella" means "beautiful". The website Oceanup.com has a screenshot of the entire conversation and can be seen here.

If this was not enough to prove her likeness for Selena Gomez, Yovanna also requested the Instagram user with a rude username "YovannaBetterThanSlutena" to change it. "But that username has got to change, please," Ventura said.

Yovanna is one of many girls that Justin went out with when he was on a break from Selena Gomez and has been in touch with her constantly. He even flew Yovanna to New York Fashion week and happily let her click pictures with him, which were shared by Yovanna on her Instagram account. Read more about it here.

However, many websites are questioning the reason why Yovanna is praising Selena Gomez, who is actually her "rival." Hollywood Life is of the opinion that the Miami-based teenager might have given up her chances of becoming Justin's girlfriend when she saw Justin and Selena getting back together in Paris and posing for romantic pictures.

"Has she gracefully passed the baton now that Justin and Selena may be back together again? Or does she feel compelled to say nice things about Selena because she feels guilty about her hookups with Justin?" questions the website.
