Filmed in La Perla neighborhood in San Juan, Puerto Rico; "Runner, Runner" is set to be release in September 27, 2013. Written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, this film is a crime drama thriller produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer).

"Runner, Runner" is a high-octane thriller about gambling that brings Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake together in one scene. Whoever thought about this is a pure genius for its like seeing "Good Will Hunting" meets "The Social Network" meets "Rounders."

The "In Time" star plays Richie Furst, a financially strapped Princeton student who cheated out of his tuition money by playing online poker. So when learns location of the business who he believes cheated him by one of the games, he travels to Costa Rica to confront the site's corrupt owner, Ivan Block who is played by Ben Affleck (Argo).

But Ivan has bigger plans for Richie and lured him into becoming his own protege and ensnaring him with the promises of power and wealth. The two hit it off but their relationship starts to reach to its boiling point when FBI shows up and Richie comes to fully understand the scheme of his boss and tries to turn the table on him.

Justin's quick thinking was tested during filming of the movie as the director changes the pace on each take and uses varied intonation. After the script was sent to him he wanted to play the role of Ivan but after hearing Brad's take on the movie he signed himself get on board.

"I didn't know much about the gambling world of Costa Rica", he said from an interview of Daniel Fienberg. "So after meeting with him and continuing to do a little bit of research on it, the more you found out about it, the more it kind of felt like that there was this "Wizard of Oz" juxtaposition to what could be attractive and sexy about it, but also there is this seedy undertone to the whole thing. So I thought that his take on it could be really interesting.
