Kaley Cuoco’s ‘Burning Budhi’ co-star Sasha Pieterse shares supermoon photo
“Pretty Little Liars” star Sasha Pieterse took to Instagram to share a photo of the supermoon on Sept. 28, Monday. The supermoon phenomenon, which made the moon appear red, was recently witnessed in different parts of the world.
“Good night,” Pieterse simply captioned the photo of supermoon, which was visible in North America, South America, Western Europe, West Africa and parts of West Asia and the eastern Pacific. Last observed in 1982, the phenomenon will be back again in 2033.
The supermoon eclipse that took place on Sept. 27, Sunday, lasted for 1 hour and 11 minutes. The strange but harmless effect of lunar eclipse that appear darker and redder has earned the supermoon phenomenon the name blood moon, NASA explained.
Meanwhile, the “Pretty Little Liars” actress, who currently lives in Los Angeles, has completed filming “Burning Bodhi.” The upcoming comedy drama film is directed and written by “Saint John in Las Vegas” actor Matthew McDuffie.
“Burning Bodhi” also marks the first time Pieterse and “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco, appear in the same film. Pieterse has been part of the cast of the ABC Family show “Pretty Little Liars” since 2010 while Cuoco has been part of the cast of the CBS show “The Big Bang Theory” since 2007.
In “Burning Bodhi,” Pieterse stars opposite Oscar-nominated “Sideways” actress Virginia Madsen, “The Office” alum Cody Horn and “Hemlock Grove” actor Landon Liboiron. The film is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The release date of “Burning Bodhi” is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to hit theaters before “Pretty Little Liars” season 7 premieres in 2016. In the upcoming season, Pieterse is set to reprise her role as Alison DiLaurentis.
Recently, Pieterse received compliments from her “Pretty Little Liars” co-star Shay Mitchell. In a recent interview with AOL, Mitchell said Pieterse is very talented and working with her is always a pleasure.
