Apparently, Kanye West is begging his friend Anna Wintour to pick his girlfriend to be on the cover of Vogue. But will the editor give in?

According to a source, Kanye West is practically "begging" Vogue editor Anna Wintour to feature his five months pregnant girlfriend. But to this day, all the begging hasn't worked.

Previously, Anna Wintour made a comment that the only time Kim Kardashian would be on the cover of Vogue was after she's dead. The insider added that although Wintour thinks Kanye is "terrific" she said that Kim Kardashian is "the worst thing since socks and sandals."

Wintour's disapproval of Kim has been well-documented. Last year, it was claimed that the 32-year-old reality star was banned from attending the MET Gala. While her boyfriend attended the event all dressed up, Kim stayed at home and tweeted about the glamorous event.

"Anna hates Kim. Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn't fit that bill at all," an insider told Radar Online. "The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim couldn't even buy her way in."

However for this year, Kanye will be performing at the punk-themed event. So it would be possible for Kim to finally score a plus one. And despite the alleged indifference, Kanye seems to have maintained his friendship with Wintour, most especially since he runs a high-end fashion label.

While Kim is still not able to score a cover from the US edition of Vogue, Kim was however featured in the July/August issue of Italian Vogue. The insider added that Kanye West might be able to finally convince Wintour if he suggested a "at home feature" starring his baby girl which is due around July.
