Kanye West Cancels Montreal, Vancouver Shows, Declares New Dates for Yeezus Tour
The difficulties in connection with the Kanye West Canada Tour does not show any respite as the rapper postponed a couple of dates scheduled to be held in Toronto. The announcement was made on Wednesday as he also cancelled the gigs to be held in Montreal and Vancouver.
The couple of shows were scheduled to be held on Nov 12 and 13 at the Air Canada Centre. The shows have now been postponed to December as they are now scheduled to be held on Dec 22 and 23. Tickets for the previous dates will now be honoured according to the new schedule.
The Vancouver show was already postponed a couple of times before. The show was originally scheduled to be held on Oct 20 and the Montreal show was to be held on Nov 14. These two shows won't take place any more. The cancellation release was issued as it blamed 'routing logistics' for being responsible for the cancellation of the shows.
West has been facing troubles regarding his tours of late. He has already reshuffled the schedules in Detroit and Chicago. He has also cancelled the Columbus, St. Louis, Minneapolis and Denver shows.
On the other hand, West's Yeezus Tour has been rescheduled as well as updated. The tour dates do not consist of six of them any more as they have now been cancelled. The Yeezus Tour, according to Billboard, has suffered lots of difficulties due to the nature of the elaborate stage shows. The equipment truck also met with an accident on Oct 30, which damaged the stage props so heavily that they could not be repaired. The Yeezus Tour was postponed indefinitely. Nevertheless, the good news for the fans of the rapper is that the new dates are out now.
