Rapper Kanye West performed his new song Lost In The World during the 2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday morning in New York City. The song is included in his new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade featured entertainers such West, Gladys Knight and Colombian rocker Juanes. It also featured performances from the Broadway casts of American Idiot and Elf, along with marching bands from across the United States.

West's controversial album hit the stores earlier this week. The album figured in the news recently after a proposed album cover, which contains nudity, has been allegedly banned by Wal-Mart from being sold in its stores. (See full report here)

West's new album is reportedly inspired by Michael Jackson. He previously stated in an interview with United Kingdom's Daily Mail, that: "With the passing of Michael Jackson, I feel a responsibility to bring things to our generation that can inspire and bring real culture to pop culture."
