Kanye West’s 15-carat Engagement Ring for Kim Kardashian, Smaller than Humphries’ Rock
Kim Kardashian received the best birthday present this time.
Kanye West popped the question in front of friends and family at AT&T Park, San Francisco with a gorgeous diamond ring.
Kanye did an excellent job by designing the massive 15-carat bling to propose Kim on Monday night. And to our surprise the ring was a Lorraine Schwartz product.
Rapper and fashion mogul Kanye was a part of the creative process of designing the engagement for North's mother Kim. He knew from the start that only Lorraine, who is Kim's friend and jewellery designer, can craft that perfect bling for the reality star.
"Kanye was involved in every single way. He had a vision from the beginning. He looked at a lot of stones and he wanted only the best," Lorraine's rep told E! Online.
The "Yeezus" rapper and Lorraine worked very hard to come up with the design. They exchanged mails and stayed up late to craft the perfect ring that signifies floating on air. Kanye is the man behind the whole entire conceptualization of the ring.
Lorraine's rep confirmed to MailOnline that the stone is flawless and not just internally flawless. The diamond is a D-stone type 2A believed to be the best diamond. Also, it is a perfect cushion cut diamond.
Lorraine Schwartz was also involved with Kim's old engagement ring from Kris Humphries. The old engagement is 20-carat that Kris presented to Kim was worth $2million. Just last week, Kris auctioned the ring at Christie's in New York City and it was bought by an unnamed buyer.
Like Kim, was Kanye waiting for Kris to sell the engagement ring?
Kanye West rented out the entire stadium for the engagement act and proposed 33-year-old Kim in style. The giant scoreboard flashed, "PLEEESE MARRY MEEE!!!"
Kanye, who is in the middle of his tour, asked Kim out with a grand 50-piece orchestra.
