Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian at the AT&T Park, getting down on his knee with an extravagant light show and orchestra in anticipation of the big event. Family and friends watched and celebrated with love, toasting to the engaged couple afterwards.

Kanye successfully kept his birthday surprise from Kim and the rest of the Kardashian family. The San Francisco Giants owner offered the stadium use for the couple's big night. He commissions a huge orchestra to perform and an elaborate fireworks show that punctuated the excitement in the air. Kanye is moving on from an amazing boyfriend and took the opportunity to be a husband. He arranged for "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!" visual aide that blasted out on the Jumbotron.

A car pulled to the field and Kim was wide-eyed upon seeing and hearing the 50-piece orchestra plays Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson and Kanye's "Knock You Down." Khloe Kardashian Odom and Kylie Jenner were surprised too upon realizing what's going on as Kris asked them to join the couple. Kanye gave her a 15-carat cushion-cut diamond ring crafted by Lorraine Schwartz, a close friend who also witnessed the proposal.

Judging from this proposal, the couple's wedding is expected to be anything but small. Check the video below.

Meanwhile, British royal Kate Middleton is popular for high street, designer fashion but reportedly refused a packaged sent by Kim and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney from their new Dorothy Perkins collection. A source said that "Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequined jacket." The Kardashians seek to be as popular in the UK as in the U.S. and hope that Kate might be seen in one of their designs to boost their fashion credentials.

Kim has also been inviting the Duchess for tea as well. She said, "Kate seems like a really sweet person and she's a princess. We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats." Kate's representative made it clear though that most gifts the Duchess receives are returned. "Any such gifts are returned to the sender with thanks and an explanation of Their Royal Highnesses' policy."
