Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has admitted weakness in the past when viewing her body. But in a recent interview that sprung from now controversial nude pics on W magazine, Kardashian has disclosed her mixed feelings about her image but underscored feeling more 'mature' when responding to queries on how she views her body.

The Sydney Morning Herald noted that the TV socialite would assert satisfaction with her curves in one interview but in another would admit insecurity and definitely, not sexy.

But things have changed now, said Kardashian in an interview over her latest nude pics. The actress claims, she ‘has matured’ when asked of issues concerning her body image.

"I used to think I have to be this or that or skinny, and now, because of the show, everyone is embracing just me, which has given me confidence.

Such confidence have allowed her to regret how she would put herself down.

“Now I'm like, why did I ever give that feeling the time of day?," Kardashian was quoted as saying by the SMH.

The reality TV star was reported horrified after seeing her nude pics on last year's September cover of W magazine.

Kardashian is seen naked on the cover, displaying her breasts full-frontal with some texts superimposed on them to hide them and to ‘preserve her modesty’ as Natalie Hambly of the Sydney Morning Herald has called it.

But inside the magazine is another story. No more texts could be seen covering her breasts and her other ‘assets’. According to the SMH, Kim is ‘shown in all her glory’. Inside the magazine are various pictures of the TV socialite, with her body covered with nothing but silver paint.

Taken by famous photographer Mark Seliger, Kardashian is shown in the pictures baring her breast, in full-frontal shots. Another striking photograph is the one taken in whole body shot with Kim seen totally naked from behind.

She now puts her initial reaction of horror about the resulting photographs down to being caught off guard.

"It's just that that's not what I thought they were going to be," she said, according to SMH.

Kardashian has received more media attention after her first nude pics on Playboy and Harper’s Bazaar magazines. Complementary to these daring pictures are the reality TV shows that she has been featured on along with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”. Aired on E!! Network, the hit show was on air for five seasons and has led for similar format including “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” which has just started last week.
