Kardashian Family Meets The Mayor Of Southampton And They All Call Scott Disick Their 'Claim To Fame'
The Kardashian sisters, along with their mom Kris Jenner, had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Southampton and his daughter last summer. They all got excited about the 4th of July parade and both groups called Scott Disick their "claim to fame."
Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian were in The Hamptons with their mom Kris Jenner last summer. They opened up a pop-up branch of their retail fashion store DASH in Southampton while some members of the family were staying in the area for the summer to shoot "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons."
While most of the family were in town to celebrate Khloe's birthday, the girls and their mom squeezed in some work and went for a store visit. In a deleted scene from the show that was shared by E Online, Southampton City Mayor Mark Epley along with his daughter Marissa dropped by to check out the store and to meet the famous family. They welcomed the Kardashian gang into the city and the Mayor even congratulated Kim on her recent wedding to Kanye West.
Kris brought up the upcoming 4th of July parade and the Mayor proudly explained that the Southampton parade is one of the oldest in the country and that it is usually packed with spectators. Khloe remarked that the kids would probably love the fireworks as well and everyone got excited about spending the big American holiday in The Hamptons for the first time.
The Mayor's daughter Marissa then went and asked about Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick. She confirmed that Scott is from The Hamptons and said that he is actually their "claim to fame." Kourtney clarified that he was actually originally from Manhattan but he did move to The Hamptons when he was only 13 years old. Kris Jenner then told the Mayor and his daughter that Scott is actually the family's "claim to fame" as well.
Meanwhile, despite all the good words exchanged about Scott Disick that day, another deleted scene shared by E Online showed Kourtney and her sisters' reactions upon learning that Scott is returning to the beach house after a short stint in rehab. Kim didn't seem too excited because she knew that Scott was angry at her for spreading rumours that he tried to commit suicide. Meanwhile, Khloe downplayed her role in Scott's decision to return home instead of finding a different place to stay. Kourtney, on the other hand, admitted that she was excited to have him back. More of the drama brought about by Scott's return from rehab will play out in the upcoming episodes of "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons," which airs every Sunday on E.
