It is definitely not the Melbourne Cup Carnival that every hot celebrity item of today such as Kim Kardashian would want to be in if they want to have some private time.

When the rest of the divorcees from Hollywood choose to have some quiet time on a private island or alone in their huge mansions, the 31-year-old socialite chooses to join everyone for the races this coming Saturday. Just a couple of hours after her confirmation of her divorce file with basketball star Kris Humphries, she has once started sparked all the interest of the media to go to Australia which she visits for some business meetings along with sister Khloe.

Their first stop will be in Sydney where they are to present a wide range of handbags for a VIP party at the Hugo's bar by tomorrow night. They definitely do not have any time to spend yet thinking over the short-lived marriage as they are to meet fans first at the David Jones store tomorrow.

In the latter part of the day, the two will go to Strand Bags for another press conference. Kim is expected to head to Melbourne this Friday just ahead of the Stakes Day and will appear for the Swisse marquee by Saturday. Even the officials from the Victoria Racing Club attested that they suddenly got a huge influx of media requesting for accreditation.

Despite the divorce news spreading all over the world, their agents confirmed that Kim would still attend. "As far as they were concerned, coming to Australia was the best thing for her because she gets to escape the chaos of the Hollywood pap pack," according to one source.

The paparazzis have followed her already in Australia just to be able to monitor all her post-divorce activities. She was even caught at the LA airport without her very costly wedding ring at 20 carats.
