Karl Lagerfeld Thinks Kate Middleton is a ‘Romantic Beauty’ But ‘Dislikes’ Pippa’s Face
Known for his vicious comments, Karl Lagerfeld only had good words for The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, but unfortunately, Pippa Middleton received the harsh treatment.
Karl Lagerfeld, the main man of Chanel, certainly wasn't afraid to share his thoughts and opinions no matter how offensive they are. His latest victim? Pippa Middleton.
The creative director of Chanel previously reached out to British singer, Adele, after calling her "fat." This time, he is at fault to The Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton.
The 78-year-old designer commented on Pippa's style admitting that he only liked her rear view. But before he criticized The Duchess' sister, he first praised Kate.
"Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties," he said. "On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."
Fans of Pippa who have dubbed her as "Her Royal Hotness" will not be pleased. But known for having such high standard on the concept of beauty, it was not the first time that Lagerfeld voiced out his cutting opinions.
Last week at the launch of pop-up beauty boutique in London's Covent Garden, the designer spoke more compliments for The Duchess of Cambridge.
"She knows pretty well what to wear and what to do. She has a divine silhouette so she can wear anything," he said. "She has a sense of what's right for the moment because you can not dress like a mad woman in those situations."
