American actress and model Karrueche Tran has made a shocking revelation that she is “mentally unstable” after breaking up with Chris Brown, RollingOut reports.

The duo started dating in 2011 but eventually broke up earlier this year due to Chris’ on-again off-again relationship with pop artist Rihanna. The aspiring model has now spoken up about their estranged relationship publicly.

Even nine months after breaking up, Tran has revealed that she’s still not mentally prepared to date someone else. During the four years of relationship with Chris, Tran had seen almost every possible ugly phase, she said. Her rapper boyfriend was admitted to rehab several times and was even imprisoned for a short time.

“I haven’t really explored dating yet and I’m not sure if I’m mentally there just because of all the stuff that I’ve been through. It’s a lot to open up to somebody,” Tran told Kontrol magazine. She has graced the cover of the latest issue of Kontrol magazine and can be seen in a chic and stylish avatar.

Chris previously called off his relationship with Tran and stated that he was not willing to see her hurt over his growing friendship with Rihanna. Just a day after announcing his breakup, Chris released a video entitled "The Real Chris Brown” that featured the images of himself, Tran and Rihanna. The lyrics of the song go as: "Is there such thing as loving two people? I don't know if it's possible, but I feel like that."

In March 2015, it was revealed that Brown was father to a baby girl named Royalty with video model Nia Guzman. A month later, he confirmed the news on Instagram and accepted the baby girl. The model has gained a lot of success post her breakup and was recently spotted at several events. She was seen in the front row at various fashion shows and has even hosted numerous events.

On the work front, she is currently seen as Vivian Johnson in the web series “The Bay The Series.”
