Pairings in "The Vampire Diaries" had the viewers hooked to the CW TV series for the past five seasons and one cast member hopes her personal couple pairing will be explored soon. Actress Kat Graham revealed that she wants her character Bonnie Bennett to get hot and heavy with Damon Salvatore that co-star Ian Somerhalder portrays.

In the Just Jared report, the 24-year-old actress revealed that she would like to have an on-screen romance and sexy scene with Ian Somerhalder. "Everyone is going to be like, 'Oh it's because he's so hot.' But it's actually because we work the exact same way with [our acting coach] Ivana Chubbuck, and I think we would just do the most interesting work together as actors. That's the only reason," explained Ms Graham.

The Wet Paint report claims that the "Bamon" relationship is possible since Bonnie and Damon share a deep connection in the book series. "Bonnie and Damon have always had a contentious relationship - she's a witch; he's a vampire; they're supposed to hate each other - but over the seasons, the two have gone from wanting each other to die to risking everything to help the other survive," reads the report.

After all, Season 5 showed Damon going to extreme lengths in bringing Bonnie back from the dead for his lady love Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) who is best friends with the former witch. Kat Graham's personal pairing with Ian Somerhalder sounds interesting but subject to a debate among the fans since her character is currently involved with Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R McQueen).

"It's great how they've evolved the friendship, more so, with Bonnie and Jeremy. I really like where they're going with it, though I don't completely know where that is, and I kind of like it that way," shared the actress to Hollywood Life back in July.

Kat Graham further added: "It's cool that, because of the situation with her being on the other side, where the only person she can communicate with is Jeremy, it forces an even more intimate relationship with him. There's even more of a unity and support."

However, it looks like trouble will be visiting the Beremy relationship as executive producer Caroline Dries tease in the TV Line report. "Part of her personality now is that she carries this cross," shared Ms Dries.

Being an Anchor to the Other Side sounds like a huge jinx when it comes to romantic relationships and Bonnie will be dealing with it. Since Bonnie is now portraying that role after she came back from the dead, her relationship with Jeremy will be slammed with some issues soon.

"No relationship on this show is safe for too long. They're going to hit some speedbumps," teased the executive producer further. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 will be returning with the 100th episode titled "500 Years of Solitude" scheduled to air on January 23, 2014 at 8 pm EST on the CW Network.
