Kate Hudson, Matt Bellamy Reunion: Ex-Couple Caught 'Laughing And Smiling' While Shopping In Aspen
Kate Hudson recently reunited with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. The estranged couple were reportedly spotted doing some last minute holiday shopping in Aspen. Both of them were donning winter wear, as they spent a cordial day together.
"They were extremely happy and just really friendly. They were laughing and smiling together," said an onlooker to People's magazine. The two reportedly did not indulge in PDA. However, Matt made sure that he carried Kate's shopping bags. The duo, who have a three and half- year-old son together, pulled the plug on their relationship, earlier this month. Despite ending their relationship, they want to give their son a health family life. The couple's rep has previously said that they are "committed co -parents."
Opening up about her and Matt's break up, Kate said, during the People Magazine Awards on Thursday, that in life everyone goes through ups and downs. She admitted that everyone faces challenges in life but it should not "push anyone down." She also said that her children are her "role models" and she has learnt a lot from them, according to Daily Mail.
Kate started dating Matt in 2010 and got engaged to him in 2012. The reason behind their split is not known. Before getting engaged to the "Muse" frontman, Kate was married to "The Black Crowes" frontman Chris Robinson. She exchanged vows with him in 2000 in Aspen. They dissolved their marriage in 2006, citing "irreconcilable differences." Kate has a son with Chris. He was born in 2004. And, Matt was previously engaged to an Italian psychologist, Gaia Polloni. He romanced her for nine years, from 2000 to 2009.
In other news, Kate will be next seen in a comedy film "Rock the Kasbah." She has been cast opposite Bruce Willis in the film. The film also stars Leem Lubany, Scott Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Arian Moayed, Taylor Kinney, Beejan Land and Bill Murray. It tells the story of a music producer who in order to reboot his musical career tries to make a star out of a young girl in Afghanistan. The film has been directed by Barry Levinson and will release in April next year.
