Kate Hudson sure knows how to choose controversial men. Two of her ex-boyfriends, Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez have been involved in doping scandals in their respective sports. In the July 2014 issue of InStyle Magazine, Kate finally breaks her silence about the two athletes among other things in her life.

Kate is the daughter of Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn who is an actress as well as a producer. Growing up in the industry has allowed Kate to find her own way through the ranks having starred in numerous projects since her breakthrough hit "Almost Famous" which came out in 2000

She has since married Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, had a baby and divorced. Her most controversial exes, Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez were both caught up in doping scandals after having enjoyed stellar careers.

Armstrong is a professional cyclist who won the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times from 1999-2005 before he was eventually disqualified, stripped of his titles and banned from competitive cycling for life. The ban came after the United States Doping Agency presented findings that prove he had been using performance enhancing techniques to improve his performances in all of the races in question. Armstrong is also a cancer survivor and he established the Livestrong foundation to support other cancer victims. He has also since been ousted from the foundation.

Rodriguez or A-Rod is a professional baseball player who played for the New York Yankees. Rodriguez is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time. With a 20-year career,in which he amassed a .300 batting average, 654 home runs, 1,969 runs batted in (RBIs), and 2,939 hits. He is a 14-time All-Star and has won three American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, ten Silver Slugger Awards, and two Gold Glove Awards. His stellar career and legacy has similarly been tainted with the use of performance enhancing drugs which he admitted in 2009..

"I was as shocked as anyone. But I personally think that you make the choices you make and you should reap the consequences. People have a right to [feel betrayed]. Lance and Alex are phenomenal athletes who have made some bad choices and let a lot of people down. It's a decision they made for themselves and they've got to loathe it., Hudson said.
