There are reports claiming that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is near to the point of being "obsessed" with Hollywood star, Angelina Jolie.

According to a report by a site, The Duchess is such a big fan of the "Tomb Raider" actress that she has been going through great lengths just to "mimic" her idol. Since being thrown into the spotlight after being engaged to Prince William, it seems that Kate has been making Jolie her "peg" as a celebrity. One insider even mentioned that the Duchess is serious on losing weight because of the star.

"Since then, she has cut down on food ever more. Kate now has the build of a supermodel and can't believe she's giving her hero, Angelina, a run for her money on the red carpet," says a close friend in the report.

Another pal of the Duchess spilled that Jolie is Kate's biggest fashion inspiration, with her "classy" look born out of an undying infatuation with Jolie's glamorous side.

"Kate adores how Angelina's always so graceful and elegant and makes everything look so effortless" claims a source in the same post. Even when it comes to having children, Kate seems to view adoption as a generous, right , and acceptable way of having kids.

"She has always said how much she'd like to adopt a couple of kids, just like Angelina. She and Wills think it would be a really modern thing to do" quips a close friend. Angelina and Brad have three adopted children, Maddox, Zahara, and Pax.

Are these mere coincidences or is Kate Middleton really trying to look and be like Brad Pitt's partner?
