After returning from a three-week long Australian-New Zealand tour Kate Middleton is tied up with the renovations of royal countryside home situated in Anmer Hall in Norfolk. The Duchess of Cambridge is supervising the final refurbishing process and is reportedly making sure that the house turns out be perfect under her vigilance.

The country home is a gift to the royal couple from Queen Elizabeth and is situated 120 miles north from London. The house has 10-bedrooms including a garden room of size "16' X16'. The garden room has a huge glass door and has windows up till the roof. Prince William and Princess Kate want to erect a structure in front of it, which can become a house of vines and creepers and provides shade and security.

Apparently, a new room is being made for Prince Williams' nanny Maria Borrallo. Her room is situated away from the main house.

There are many old wood stores in the house, which are being turned into a lounge, kitchen and bedrooms.

The vast Gregorian mansion sits in the lap of nature and has a huge swimming pool and an outdoor tennis court. The place is apparently perfect to raise Prince George, as per the reports.

William and Kate want to raise Prince George away from the hustle-bustle of the city, reported People.

"It's like a fancy farmhouse," a source told the Web site about the countryside home, adding, "It isn't grandiose. But it's a great, friendly family environment."

Moreover, Charles Morris, Prince Charles' one of the favorite architects has been given the charge of doing the new room.

Reports have further suggested that Kate Middleton has also appointed high-end designer Ben Pentreath to do the interiors.

In her wake to add personal touch to the house Princess Kate was also spotted shopping at Knights Oriental Rugs in Henley-on-Thames.

"She wants to put her own influence on [Anmer] because she wants it to be her own family home," owner Simon Knight told People.
