Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge Turns 32: Look at her Eventful Year
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge is turning 32 on Thursday, January 9. This has been a wonderful year for the British beauty as she covered major milestones of life in the year 2013. Kate was blessed with a wonderful baby boy Prince George this year. She not only became a mother but was also seen catering to many royal duties.
The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to celebrate the big day with her family at their Kensington Palace apartment only. She is expected to celebrate the occasion "privately," the palace has announced, according to Daily Mail. In the year 2012, Kate was pregnant on her birthday but this year we are hoping that the new mommy might be able to indulge in some wine or champagne, if she is not exclusively breastfeeding her five month old baby.
The year saw Kate become a mommy and embrace her role as a mother lovingly. She proudly introduced baby George to the world by putting on her lovely smile and her lovely blue white polka dot gown. World praised the new mommy for not hiding her tummy but proudly displaying it in a chic dress. But this was probably the last time the world saw Kate's mommy belly. The new mommy magically made it disappear in next few weeks and was spotted wearing body hugging gowns and skinny jeans which showed a very slim Kate. She attended various public outings and her royal duties looking drop dead gorgeous and with no sign of weight gain. Only Kate can tell us her secret mantra to such a fast weight loss!
The world also saw a beautiful royal ceremony - the christening of Prince George. The smiling Kate chose to wear a lovely off white full sleeve winter dress for the occasion and it was the highlight of the year for her. She looked stunning at most of public outings but being a new mommy Kate was ridiculed for showing off lighter shade of hair colour and even having some grey strands visible. The world media called it "Royal Horror" or "Royal Shame" and ridiculed the Duchess for the carelessness. However Kate was quick to get back to her dark brown hair soon and looked amazing thereafter.
