The slim Kate Middleton 'The Duchess of Cambridge ', who only really started showing in her sixth month, has shown royal engagements in a series of sophisticated dresses and chic and Kim Kardashian has stayed true to her sexy, fashion-forward self with edgy designer outfits and body-conscious silhouettes.

In earlier pregnancy days, belting your burgeoning belly can create curves or even hide a growing tummy

Both Middleton and Kardashian tend to favour heels and are rarely seen in flats at official events or engagements. During a recent two-day tour of Scotland with husband Prince William, the Duchess even played a friendly game of ping pong while wearing her favorite heeled black boots. Kardashian, meanwhile, has been known to wear sky-high platforms just to go shopping.

On their off-days, Middleton and Kardashian opt for comfort without sacrificing style.
