Kate Middleton Prefers Chelsy Davy Over Cressida Bonas for Prince Harry?
Word is out that Kate Middleton prefers Chelsy Davy over Prince Harry's current squeeze Cressida Bonas. While the Duchess of Cambridge did not say anything of the sort, fans are saying that Kate Middleton is not fond of the 24-year-old. Bonas's half-sister Isabella Calthorpe was reportedly pursued by Prince Harry's older brother when he and his now wife Catherine broke up in 2007.
Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy, being Royal girlfriends in the past, have bonded over time and consider each other as friends, sources say. Davy, who was invited to the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly turned to Kate Middleton during her first break up with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Cambridge and the aristocrat Cressida Bonas are not very close, reports say. However, Vanity Fair reveals that Cressida Bonas, now dubbed as the anti-Kate, has a lot in common with the Duchess of Cambridge. One particular thing they have in common according to Vanity Fair is that once, Kate Middleton wore something as outrageous as what Bonas have been seen on.
But the friction between the two cannot be denied even if they haven't even met, sources say. According to EntertainmentWise, if Cressida Bonas marries Prince Harry, her half-sister Isabella Calthorpe will be the matron of honour while Prince William will likely be Prince Harry's bestman. The magazine says, it will be "Kate's worst nightmare!"
The 24-year-old Bonas has been dating the prince for over a year but the aristocrat, the daughter of Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon and businessman Jeffrey Bonas, hasn't been introduced to Prince Harry's sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
MailOnline's royal editor Katie Nicholl who recently wrote the book Kate: The Future Queen, the probable reason for the conflict may be due to Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. Nicholl said, the Duke of Cambridge already had feelings for Cressida Bonas's half-sister in 2004 when Kate Middleton was already in his life. Calthorpe reportedly turned him down.
Isabella Calthorpe is married to Sam Branson and the couple are said to be friends with Kate and William.
A source says that a wedding in 2014 is likely going to happen because Prince Harry and 24-year-old Cressida Bonas "basically live with each other."
Regardless of what Kate Middleton thinks of Chelsy Davy, it is still unknown whether Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas are officially planning their wedding.
