Kate Middleton Pregnancy: Duchess' Baby Bump Debuts Soon, Royal Engagements Happening In October
Kate Middleton has been away from the public scene for over three weeks already. Since her second pregnancy was confirmed on Sept. 8, the Duchess has missed several royal gatherings because of her pregnancy sickness. However, she is reportedly up and about and ready to resume her royal duties, which will eventually give fans a glimpse of her growing baby bump.
Royal aides have reportedly confirmed that Kate Middleton was feeling well enough already to continue with her tours. According to Daily Mail, a spokesperson confirmed the Duchess will resume with her royal duties starting October.
"There will be engagements in October and November. We just haven't announced them yet," the spokesperson said.
However, the palace is still supposedly proceeding with caution with the Duchess' engagements in case she cannot attend. According to People Magazine, a royal aide claimed "there are engagements she would like to do over the coming months." But in lieu of her pregnancy sickness, these engagements are still being thoroughly reviewed. "They are being reviewed daily," the aide said, adding that Kate Middleton's health is also being monitored on a "day to day" basis.
But there has been no definite date yet as to when fans will see the Duchess again. People Magazine claims it would probably be after her first trimester. Anytime in October, the 32-year old will step out in public once again and the media will surely be following her every move to document her pregnancy.
On Sept. 8, Clarence House confirmed Kate Middleton's second pregnancy on Twitter. Likewise, an official statement also revealed the Duchess' is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The pregnancy sickness is characterised as an extreme form of morning sickness that involves excessive vomiting.
Kate Middleton was expected to do her first overseas trip alone to Malta. According to a previous article from the International Business Times, it was supposedly an induction for her as the newest senior member of the royal family. But the Duchess of Cambridge had to cancel since doctors advised her to get plenty of rest due to her pregnancy condition. Kate reportedly also missed out on Prince Harry's 30th birthday celebration, which he eventually respectfully postponed in lieu of his sister-in-law's health.
However, it would be nine months of media coverage once Kate Middleton is back under the public eye. Considered as Britain's symbol of fashion, the Duchess' maternity wardrobe will allegedly be a hot topic of discussion among fashion reports.
