Prince Harry has joined his soon-to-be sister in law, Kate Middleton in the Royal Wedding rehearsal held at Westminster Abbey in hopes to make everything goes as planned on the big day on April 29. Prince William could not make it because he was on duty at the Royal Air Force base in Anglesey, Wales, said the Agence France Presse.

Joining Kate and Prince Harry at the rehearsal was the Royal Wedding’s bridesmaid, Pippa, the bride’s younger sister.

Completing the partial run-through were other bridesmaids and pageboys and other members of the wedding entourage. The AFP noted that one of the main reasons for the rehearsal last week is to allow the nuptial’s youngest member of the entourage to be exposed to the grand ceremony. The youngest bridesmaid noted AFP is 3-years-old and the rehearsal was to ensure that she, among others, does not get ‘overwhelmed by the grandeur of the palace’.

"This was one of many rehearsals that will take place and is not the first," the prince's spokesman said.

People Magazine said that the next rehearsal takes place at the Royal Mews, where the horses and carriages are kept. No date has been set yet on the next of the series of rehearsals before the big day at London’s historic Westminster Abbey.
