Prince William's secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton revealed how the wedding of Kate Middleton and the British royalty is being organised. Apparently, Prince William and Kate Middleton are calling the "shots" for their wedding.

Since Prince William is not yet the Crown Prince, as he is yet to succeed his father Prince Charles in that title, the expenses for his wedding to Kate Middleton is expected to be shouldered by the private wealth of the royal family. Prince William's secretary had confirmed that the Royal Family and the Middleton family will pay for the wedding.

"By that, I mean what anyone else's wedding day would consist of: the church service, the associated music, flowers, decorations etc, the reception or receptions afterwards, and the honeymoon," explained Lowther-Pinkerton.

The Royal Family are drawing directly from precedent set by the then Princess Elizabeth's and Prince Philip's wedding in 1947, and The Prince and Princess of Wales's wedding in 1981.

Accordingly, Lowther-Pinkerton revealed that its the Household of Prince William and prince Harry leading in making the higly anticipated wedding happen next year on April 29th.

"Just a further word about how the wedding is being organised. This is Prince William and Catherine's day. They are giving us very clear direction and calling the shots, and through me, their wishes are being put into action by - as you can imagine - a rather large supporting cast," said Prince William's secretary in a statement.

"So, the Household of Prince Willam and prince Harry at St. James's Palace is the lead Household, with the fantastic experience of the Lord Chamberlain's Office and other Households, particularly The Prince of Wales's Household in support."

"We know that the world will be watching on the 29th April 2011 and the couple are very keen that the spectacle should be a classic example of what Britain does best."
