The Duchess of Cambridge's birthday is coming up on Jan. 9, and her husband, Prince William, has plans to surprise the blushing pregnant royal with what she wants most: privacy.

Kate Middleton, who has had her share on privacy issues since her nude photo scandal, wants nothing but peace and privacy for her birthday on Jan. 9. Her husband, the Duke, William, plans to provide the pregnant Duchess the most secure and beautiful location to spend her special day on.

"They've talked about getting a place where they can get away from it all. And now Wills has narrowed down the list to a few incredible places in Hampshire and Buckinghamshire around the £5 million mark." revealed a source, as reported by Perez Hilton.

William will make sure that there will be no photographers or paparazzi that can reach them in any range, to prevent what happened in France where Kate's privacy was maliciously invaded by tabloid photographers.

"They don't want to be too close to London as they are already based in Buckingham palace. Wills has gathered together various property details from some high-end retail estates which he will give to her on her birthday." added the source in the same report.

Unlike other royals who spend lavishly and attract attention on their special days, William wants to tend to Kate's wishes for a quiet birthday celebration. According to the birthday plans, the husband and Kate's family are churning up intimate lunch and dinner, with presents to open.

"Wills and the Middleton family are planning a very quiet do, but there'll be a 'surprise element', which could be one of two things. They'll arrange a very small lunch with present openings if she's feeling up to it. Or, they'll throw a big family dinner in the evening." said the insider in the report.

Also, this is the last birthday the Duchess will have before giving birth to the royal heir, that's why "quiet" and "sophisticated" are what counts when planning her big day.

"She'll just want to be with her family and enjoy her last birthday with Wills before there's a little one to look after. And it seems Kate is just looking forward to spending her birthday with her family before she gets to grip with motherhood." further revealed the source.
