A high-end magazine hailed the Duchess of Cambridge as "Britain's Best Dressed" beating fashion icon Kate Moss. Kate had a hard time impressing the fashion critics before and after she was married to Prince William. Now she gets Harper's Bazaar top spot in the sartorial it-list.

The Duchess beat Kate Moss, Samantha Cameron, and Emma Watson who were included in the list. Despite being judged about her more conservative wardrobes and choice of hosiery, it seems that it has paid off.

Kate has brought back the classy lady-like look again with each picture of her elegantly dressed. The judging panel includes magazine's editor, Lucy Yeomans, editor-at-large, Kim Hersov and designers, Antonio Berardi Roksanda Ilincic and milliner Philip Treacy.

"She gave us the year's - if not the century's - most thrilling fashion moment," editor-in-chief Lucy Yeomans spoke about Kate's Alexander McQueen wedding dress.

Apart from Kate other women who made the list were Tilda Swinton, Florence Welch, Andrea Riseborough, Alexa Chung, Phoebe Philo, Livia Firth, Stella McCartney, and Keira Knightley.
