Kate Middleton's 2011 wedding makeup artist is launching her own beauty line
Arabella Preston taught the Duchess of Cambridge to do her own makeup for her grand wedding in 2011
Arabella Preston, the makeup artist who takes credit for teaching Kate Middleton to do her own makeup for her royal wedding back in 2011, has debuted her own beauty line. Her new brand is called Votary. It features an array of all natural skincare products that utilize proven ingredients for aroyal glow that everyone sees in Kate’s skin. These reportedly include green tea, grape seed, apricot kernel, sunflower seed and avocado, among others.
In a report by the Independent , Preston describes the necessity of these products by saying "If you're someone that cares about what you eat, of course, it makes complete sense to care about what you put on your skin too."
That makes perfect sense, considering the ingredients used are perfectly healthy to eat, as well. A post in Honey shows the different new products which the brand carries, as well as Arabella’s tips on how to use them for optimal skin conditioning.
The first product called Rose Geranium and Apricot Oil sells for £45.00 (approx. $79). Arabella recommends massaging this oil on the face then wiping off with a towel to remove make up.
Another product shows what appears to be one of the Royal Duchess’ personal favourites, Votary’s Certified Organic Rosehip Oil. As Kate is a lover of all natural products, this is her oil of choice in keeping her beautiful skin moisturized and is formulated to reduce the appearance of pigments and scars. Kate’s mother reportedly loves this product as much as her daughter.
While an expert makeup artist who now has her own skincare line has done so much to help the stunning Royal Duchess maintain her natural beauty, there is much more to that than just natural oils. Kate relies on a lot more other product, as well as some other routines, to preserve a complexion fit for royalty.
Other products that the Duchess of Cambridge uses include Lancome’s anti aging serum, Abeeco’s BeeVenom Mask and Richard Ward's Keratin Styling Spray.
