Ever since Clarence House confirmed that Kate Middleton is pregnant with Prince William's second child, bookmakers have started betting on when the royal baby will be born.

Although Kate Middleton's second pregnancy was just recently confirmed, speculations are already running wild on when the Duchess of Cambridge will deliver her second royal baby. Bookies over at William Hill are reportedly already betting their odds on the birthdate of Prince George's sibling. According to Mirror U.K., the odds were at 16/1 that Prince George's baby brother or sister will be born on April 21, which is also the Queen's birthday.

"Last time around, we took over half a million pounds on the royal baby and we fully expect that once again the British public will all have their own opinions on whether a boy or girl is on the way," William Hill spokesperson Joe Crilly said.

Aside from the baby's birthdate, speculations also include the colour of the baby's hair and possible names.

The site claims betting odds at Paddy Power were at 6/4 that Kate Middleton and Prince William's second baby will have brown hair. Odds of 5/2 for fair, 3/1 for red and 5/1 for black.

"If there's one thing that baby George taught us it's that the British public love a punt on a Royal offspring and we're bracing ourselves for another baby betting bonanza," a spokesperson for Paddy Power said.

Kate Middleton's second pregnancy will be "the biggest novelty betting market of the year," according to the spokesperson since '"money is already pouring in by the pram-load."

Bookies from both William Hill and Paddy Power also had their bets on potential names for the royal baby. Elizabeth, Henry and Victoria reportedly ranked first at Paddy Power at 10/1 odds. While Alexander and James at 9/1 odds at William Hill.

Inquisitr claims Clarence House announced Kate Middleton's second pregnancy at 10:27 a.m. (British Time) on Monday, Sept. 8, via Twitter. Finally, all previous speculations involving the Duchess' pregnancy and alleged miscarriage are put to rest with the confirmation that Kate Middleton and Prince William are indeed expecting royal baby no. 2.
