Dubbed as the most stylish woman of 2014, Kate Middleton is on the top of the world with new baby on the way and with her family joining the royal shooting party. The Christmas season is full of many surprises for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they break tradition of not joining Queen Elizabeth for the annual holiday luncheon.
Michael and Carole Middleton, together with Kate's two siblings, Pippa and James Middleton, have been given the privilege to join the royals for pheasant hunting. Sources told Daily Mail that Prince William headed the hunting party on Saturday, Dec. 27, on the monarch's Sandringham Estate.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were on the spotlight when they chose to host their own Christmas luncheon in Anmer Hall with the Middletons. But instead of making the Queen upset, Kate's family is never been closer to the royals as they were invited to join the Queen at church on Christmas day and pheasant-hunting with William.
"It is not known whether other senior royals were part of the gathering, although it is unlikely that the Queen or Prince Philip would have ventured out," according to the publication. "The one notable absentee, however, was Kate, who is expecting her second child in April. She stayed at the couple's new country mansion Anmer Hall, just a few miles away, with Prince George, before apparently joining the group for afternoon tea up at the main house."
Other guests who are in the Queen's private estate include the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Charles, Princess Anne and her son and Peter Philips. The Duke of Cornwall is reportedly spending his Christmas without his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, due to the Duchess back problem and has been receiving physiotherapy, according to Clarence House spokesperson statement.
Meanwhile, pregnant Kate Middleton beats Victorian Beckham to be named as 2014's most stylish woman following a poll of 2,000 style-conscious Brits. The 32-year-old future Queen never fails to make a statement with her fashion as everything she wears sells out, thanks to her royal ensemble. Other fashionistas included in the list are Ultimo model Abbey Clancy, "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson and Hollywood actress Jessica Alba.
