Kate Middleton's Olympic Fashion: From Opening to Closing Ceremonies [PHOTOS]
She started with blue and ended in blue. The Duchess of Cambridge paraded in effortless fashion from the opening to the closing ceremonies at the London 2012 Olympics.
During the opening ceremony, Kate Middleton wore an ice blue Christopher Kane creation. Many have said that it was a fashion faux pas for Kate Middleton that time, since the US First Lady Michelle Obama stole the show from the Duchess.
To show her support to Team GB, Kate Middleton sported casual clothes. She was dressed mostly in shirts and pants. She wore several versions of Team GB's Olympic kit which was designed by Stella McCartney with Adidas.
Kate can always be seen present at any Team GB game, cheering and doing the wave with the crowd while wearing different versions of Team GB polo shirts paired with skinny jeans.
But it wasn't all casual for The Duchess of Cambridge. She wore a pale shift blue dress during Andy Murray's match with Spain's Nicolas Almagro at Wimbledon. And in all these occasions, Kate Middleton displayed youth and effortless fashion style during the two-week Olympic games.
At the recent closing ceremonies, The Duchess of Cambridge chose to wear the same dress she wore in one of the Jubilee events. It was a blue and patterned Whistles "Bella" dress which she paired before with an Alexander McQueen blazer.
