Now that the report of Kate Middleton's second pregnancy has been confirmed, bets are being placed on the name of second royal child. The popular choice for a girl is Elizabeth whereas for the boy it is Henry and James. Other names which are being suggested for a girl includes Victoria, Alexandra, and Mary.

According to reports by Yahoo UK Lifestyle, it is expected that more than 1 million euros would be gambled on royal baby's name, hair colour, gender and date of birth. Huger bets are already being placed on Kate giving birth to a baby girl.

Moreover, the odds for Kate giving birth to baby girl are close to that of her giving birth to a baby boy. Bookmaker Coral has guessed that for the girls the odds are 10/11 where as Ladbrokes has estimated 4/5 for a boy. Interestingly, it is not only the gender and names on which the bets are being placed, stakes are being raised for twins and triplets.

Meanwhile, Middleton is reportedly suffering from severe morning sickness and it is being said that she may have to cancel her Malta trip which was scheduled later this month. Kate was also suppose to appear along with Prince William at the Oxford University's £21million centre dedicated to the study of China. However, Prince William attended the event by himself. Kate is reportedly being treated for hyperemesis gravidarum just like her last pregnancy.

"She is at home being looked after by the surgeon gynaecologist to the Queen, Alan Farthing, and the surgeon gynaecologist to the royal household, Guy Thorpe-Beeston," said a palace spokeswoman, adding, "There are a number of forthcoming engagements so we took the decision to be fully open about it at this point," the spokeswoman said. "One is the forthcoming visit to Malta and a decision on that will be taken closer to the time," according to reports by the Guardian.

The news of Middleton's second pregnancy has come two months after Prince George turned 1.
