Kate Middleton's Second Pregnancy Makes Prince William The Fifth In Line To The Throne Days Before His 30th Birthday
Days before celebrating his 30th birthday, Prince Harry gets bumped again after Clarence House announced the news about Prince William and Kate Middleton's second pregnancy. Harry dropped by fourth to fifth in line of succession regardless of whether the baby is a boy or a girl.
Now that his chance of becoming king is getting slimmer, the 29-year-old royal will have to move a step backward to give way to the new heir. Harry's father Prince Charles is currently next in line to the throne, followed by the Duke of Cambridge and son, Prince George.
"In keeping with this shift, the Duke of York Prince Andrew will move to sixth in line, ahead of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in the seventh spots," Us Weekly reports. "In any case, the new royal baby will bear the title of Prince or Princess, thanks to a decree issued by Queen Elizabeth II before baby George's July 22 birth last year."
Currently preparing for his Invictus Games, Prince Harry will celebrate his milestone birthday on Sept. 15 right after the games for injured servicemen and women will conclude. In line with his birthday, the ginger-haired prince will inherit £10million pounds from his late mother, Princess Diana. The same time that Prince William received his own share during his 30th birthday two years ago.
Thanks to clever investments, Harry is reportedly going to receive more than his brother because of the inheritance accumulated interest. Now that he is turning 30, Diana's famous wedding gown and other cherished possessions will also be returned to her sons which is currently being kept by her brother Earl Spencer.
Too busy to plan for his birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge together with Harry's friend, Guy Pelly, are reportedly in charge of planning for his birthday bash. Said to be hosting a "St. Moritz-themed' party Kensington Palace, the party-goer prince favours to celebrate his birthday with friends and family in a private and intimate party.
Kate Middleton's second pregnancy was announced on Monday, Sept. 8, after she suffered severe morning sickness. The same pregnancy condition that she suffered during her first pregnancy in 2012. The Cambridges are supposed to have a scheduled visit in Oxford University but the Duchess had to cancel the visit due to her condition.
