Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Playboy magazine has invited Kate Moss to strip off on its cover. The supermodel has shown her willingness to do the job as she celebrates her 40th birthday this year. Moss looks stunning in the iconic Playboy outfit: black corset, white French cuffs, bunny ears and tail with towering black pumps.

The married mom of one looks sultry in the photo as she posed on all fours, channeling her best seductive bunny pose. It is a far cry from the 1990s where she was initially reluctant to be a pin-up girl and instead went for the heroin-chic look.

Moss is known for her legendary bad-boy boyfriends and partying and she is a good fit for the magazine. The most famous supermodel is perfect for the most anticipated pictorial of the decade. Playboy is a massive brand and it is just fitting to pick a global icon for its 60th celebration covergirl.

She is the face of Burberry on the cover of Playboy and she is the "perfect partner for [Playboy] to help launch the next 60 years," Jimmy Jellinek, Playboy's editorial director, said.

Hugh Hefner shared the same sentiment regarding Moss as "a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modeling. It's a natural for [Playboy]."

Moss' full-frontal nude photos will be released in the December issue. "This creates a heat for the brand globally," Jellinek said. "It started with Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Playboy 60 years ago, an icon for her time. Now we've got Kate Moss!"

Earlier in 2013, Moss has bared it all as she posed topless for V magazine with famed Photographer Mario Testino and for a David Yurman jewelry advert. She now joins Pamela Anderson, Dolly Parton and Lizzie Jagger (who risked the wrath of her father Mick when she posed for the magazine in 2011) in the realms of Playboy bunnies.

Playboy is celebrating the holiday season with the release of its first glow-in-the-dark cover in December. It will feature seductive legs sliding down a chimney at night, which is graced by Playmate of the Year Raquel Pomplun.
