Kate Upton Defines a Limit With ‘Almost Nude Photos’ and ‘Baring it All,’ Reveals Why She Wouldn’t Pose Completely Naked in a Photo Op

It may not be as much of concern for people who have seen Kate Upton's revealing and raunchy photo shoots with various magazines in the past, but you may want to know that the Sports Illustrated model isn't really so keen to strip all the way. It doesn't mean that Kate isn't brave enough to go nude, but it is simply because she didn't want to receive unwelcome commentaries from the general public, that is, if she ever decides to stop the cutesy rear-view-only pictures and strip naked all over.

Speaking to The Talks for Details, the buxom blonde, who has a relationship with Detroit Tigers' Justin Verlander, has confessed what was preventing her to pose nude in photo shoots. For Kate, she doesn't want to get photographed naked and then get blasted or abused by "social media and the Internet." Kate made it clear that she has nothing against the women and other models who had already posed nude in front of the cameras. She knew that nude photos were great fine arts. However, the fact that social media and the Internet have a strong presence in people's lives, it became so easy for people to attack or criticise any individual. Kate doesn't want to experience verbal abuse and harsh public criticism.

"I don't think that my pictures would be received in the way that I'd want them to be received," said Kate.

Kate said that the "social media and the Internet" were pretty much the main reasons why she hasn't gone naked or posed nude in magazines completely.

"I really appreciate those (nude) photos and I think women are beautiful, but I think social media and the Internet has prevented me from putting myself out there like that."

It is understandable why Kate is a little apprehensive on going all the way in pictorials or photo shoots. The 22-year-old model has oftentimes been criticised because of her figure. She has received harsh comments in the past about her body. A pro-anorexia site Skinny Gossip once condemned Kate's figure and even called her "little piggie," but the model stood up, remained strong, and didn't let her faultfinders took the best of her.

Who knows? Kate has previously said that she wasn't closing her doors to posing naked in Playboy, but unfortunately, for the time being, Kate's sexy shots will do.
