Kate Upton Responds to Prom Video Request: 'I'm not sure yet but I'd love to go'
Jake Davidson could possibly have his best Prom experience ever. After making a video to ask Kate Upton to be his date, the "Sports Illustrated" model has responded and it's looking positive.
A high school student from California made a video request directed to Kate Upton and uploaded it on YouTube. The video went viral, enough to get Kate Upton's attention. With roughly 130,000 views and counting, Jake may soon be hearing a "Yes" to his invitation.
Upon finding out about the video, Kate Upton responded to Jake via her Twitter account. With a link to the video, Kate said, "You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule ;)"
It must have certainly put a big smile on Davidson's face. In the short clip video, Jake listed several reasons why he and Upton make a nice pair.
"You're the ying to my yang. I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day - and I can't dance. At all," he said. "You're Christian, 5'10", and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny."
Jake who is a high school student at Milken Community High School in Bel Air even suggested that they could "ride along all night long" but only until 11 because that's his "curfew."
Meanwhile, Kate Upton told Daily News that she is considering Davidson's offer. While at a Samsung Smart TV launch event on Wednesday, Kate said that she is not sure yet but she would love to go to Prom with Davidson.
"I'm not sure yet but I'd love to go," the model said. "He seems like a really nice guy."
Well, Jake must be crossing his fingers all day. If he's lucky, he could become the coolest guy in his school to walk arm-in-arm with Kate Upton as his Prom date.
