Katherine Heigl is definitely enjoying her role as a mum. On Wednesday night, she was at the red carpet for her movie with Ashton Kutcher, "Killers". She replied "I hope so" when asked whether she and her husband Josh Kelley would be giving their 18-month-old daughter, Naleigh, a sibling through another adoption.

Since Naleigh arrived from North Korea last September, Heigl said she found it hard to balance childcare with a career.

"Like any working mum, I have to make some compromises, but it is so much easier said than done," said Heigl.

"I knew that I wanted to keep working, because I love what I do. But it was really hard to leave her and go to work so far away."

The adoption of Naleigh, whose name is from the combination of the names of Heigl's mother Nancy and sister Margaret Leigh, was immediate because the baby had special needs at that time. The infant was only able to go to America after she had a surgery for a congenital heart defect. She is now 100 percent well.
