Just in case excitement over the imminent birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby wasn't enough, the Queen's Coronation Festival turned the gardens of Buckingham Palace into one big party. Katherine Jenkins, Welsh mezzo-soprano sparkled onstage as she joined the festive evening concert.

On July 11, Katherine Jenkins clothed her figure, still fit from her stint on "Dancing with the Stars," in gorgeous evening wear. The 33-year-old "Believe" singer matched the grand event with a sparkling dress. Her violet gown was dusted with shimmering beads and a jeweled neckline and belt. The flowing skirt looked lovely as the classical-crossover singer moved across the stage. Katherine styled her hair in glossy waves.

Ahead of the evening gala, Katherine Jenkins kept her Twitter followers updated with her concert preparations, even sharing a photo of her stunning diamond earrings right before her performance. Katherine's violet gown was not the only one she brought to Buckingham Palace. For the finale, a rousing number with Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud, Katherine Jenkins wore an emerald green gown. The off-the-shoulder dress came in Katherine's favorite fitted silhouette. Beautiful draped details accented the "Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming" singer's shape.

The audience, which included British fashion designers Julien Macdonald and Melissa Odabash tweeted praises for the singer, with Melissa exclaiming, "u looked stunning and sang so beautifully both Julien and I gave you a standing ovation tonight and you can dance x." Julien Macdonald also had his share of the spotlight. The designer created stunning costumes for English National Ballet dancers who performed during the festival.

The Coronation Festival celebrates the 60th anniversary of The Queen's Coronation. Celebrations continue at the Gardens of Buckingham Palace through Sunday, July 14.
