Katie Holmes looked absolutely darling in the premiere of Adam Sandler's latest movie venture, "Jack and Jill."

The movie is about, well, Jack and Jill who are fraternal twins. Every year but for this one, Jill stays at Jack's LA mansion for Thanksgiving weekend-except this time (as was previously assured) she decides to stay a little bit longer. And with that, hilarity ensues. With cameos from the likes of Johnny Depp and screen legend Al Pacino playing himself (also playing a somewhat enamoured version of himself pertaining to Jill), the movie has some golden moments.

Holmes plays Jack's cute and soft-spoken wife always there to gently berate Jack and lead him to the path of family togetherness. The mother of one looked exactly the part in her sexy but sweet Holmes and Yang dress which she wore to the premiere. When asked about her character, Holmes only had amiable things to say about Erin, Jack's wife.

"Erin is Jack's wife and sister-in-law to Jill. And she's caught in between these two siblings, and trying to keep the peace in the household, and also be generous with Jill and sensitive. [Jack and Jill's] mother has just passed, and I think Erin has patience for her husband, so I think she's probably little more patient with Jill," the 32-year-old says in an interview with the examiner.com.

Holmes has been making the late night rounds promoting the movie and even talking Thanksgiving with Martha Stewart. The other half of TomKat expressed her lack of turkey making skills and makes sure that everyone in her Thanksgiving table is well fed even if the meal isn't exactly home cooked. She does make up for it though by making a mean pumpkin bar-pumpkin cake with cheese frosting. If "Jack and Jill" is anything like Holmes' pumpkin treat, then it's sure to be a hit.
