Katie Holmes Reveals Her Make-Up Free Look As She Steps Out To Grab Lunch
Katie Holmes recently stepped out sans make-up on the streets of California. The 36-year-old dressed down in a pink hoodie, a pair of blue jeans and a plaid shirt. She coupled her look with a pair of black boots and tied her hair in a loose ponytail. She reportedly took a stroll before grabbing some Italian food from Gjelina Take Away. She was accompanied by her bodyguard. He was with the actress throughout the afternoon.
The actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming movie projects. She recently talked about reviving her film career and how at the moment she does not have much choice while picking up a role. She is reportedly taking whatever opportunity is coming her way.
She also revealed to the Red magazine that she has a strong group of girlfriends. "I'm inspired by the community of women it takes to help one woman succeed. It's important to be supportive and have people you can call at 3 a.m. I have a group of friends I call, and my sisters," she said. She also said that she has not changed much from what she was in her 20s. She still does not cling on to emotions for a long time. The mother-of-one also revealed that she does not pay much attention to what is being said about her on social media.
Meanwhile, Holmes reportedly spent her Christmas with ex-husband Tom Cruise and her daughter Suri. She got married to Cruise in 2006 in a scientology ceremony at the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy. She dissolved her marriage with the "Mission Impossible" actor in 2012. Cruise was previously married to Nicole Kidman.
In other news, Holmes will also be making her directorial debut with "All We Had," according to Variety. The film is based on the Annie Weatherwax's novel of the same name. The film will tell the story of an impoverished mother and her 13-year-old daughter who find an unlikely home in America. Holmes was recently seen in Karen Leigh Hopkins' film "Miss Meadows." It received mixed reviews from the critics. She will also be seen in a Simon Curtis' film "The Women in Gold." The film also stars Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds.
