Because she would be naked in the promotional effort for her single "California Gurls", Katy Perry specified that no straight men will be allowed in the set.

Only women and gays were permitted in the set of Perry's new video because she didn't want heterosexual men to see her naked. Russell Brand's fiancee will be in her birthday suit in the sexy new promo, which will have her lying nude on a cloud of cotton candy in one shot and her breasts will be covered with cakes in another.

The singer made sure that the set was closed on the filming day.

"The cotton candy clouds! I was naked. It was really fun to do. We had to do like a closed set because we didn't want anyone seeing anything," she told MTV News.

"You weren't allowed (on the set) unless you were a girl or you're gay; I think that's probably like the standard for all girlfriends. Anyways, I was really excited to do something like this and really nervous. But it turned out (okay)."
