Pop princess Katy Perry has a crush on Prince Harry. Meanwhile, the ginger prince regrets break up with ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas and is reportedly trying to win her back.

Katy Perry reportedly invited Prince Harry through a friend to hang out with her. The pop singer extended the invitation after she completed her British leg of her concert "The Prismatic World Tour" when is already back in America.

"Katy has always had a thing for Prince Harry...So she decided to be cheeky and invite him to spend American Independence Day with her and friends in July," an insider told to British newspaper Daily Star in a Huffington Post report.

The message was said to a friend who was asked by Katy to extend what she said to the Prince. The pop star, on the other hand, was very casual about the invitation as she does not want to sound like asking Prince Harry to a date.

Katy before the news about Prince Harry came out had always been in highly publicized relationships. She was married with Russell Brand and was divorced. The pop singer then started dating singer John Meyer in 2011. Recently Katy was linked to DJ Diplo and Robert Pattinson. The actor was even seen on her concert in London. This raised more speculations about the real score between the two.

Meanwhile, Harry is now single after his break-up with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas. Their two-year relationship ended last month. Reports said that Harry had not yet moved on with the relationship. Friends of the Prince are also hoping that the two will reunite soon.

Based to the information provided by a royal insider, the Prince reportedly invited Cressida on a romantic trip in a secret place in Devon on a dinner date at Kensington Palace. The report pointed out that the invitation for the romantic trip on Devon is for them to talk about the possibilities of their relationship as well as their future.

"They are both on good terms and still very close. If he wasn't a member of the royal family they would still be together," said a source informed British newspaper the Daily Star. The source also added that the break up did not meant that Cressida have fallen out of love for the Prince. It only happened that she wanted to live a normal life and fears the attention she gets every time she goes out with Prince Harry.

Whether Katy Perry's feelings for the Prince is something deep is yet to be known. However, it is more likely to happen for Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas to start their relationship all over again if the Prince successfully wins her back.
