Katy Perry and Diego Luna sizzles on screen as they play star crossed lovers in Perry's new music video, "The One That Got Away."

The movie captures the bittersweet memories of a love found and a love lost. The director of the music video Floria Sigismondi tells the story of the song's lyrics. Perry transformed into an old lady remembering her younger years in the arms of her true love Diego Luna.

The video was released last Friday, November 11. The Perry and Luna team up is yet to be considered one of the most memorable music video hook ups to this date.

In the video Luna and Perry were both painter and would create masterpieces together side by side being each other's muse. In other clips, the two were seen giggling, having fun, dancing, sleeping in each others arms, tattooing, and making out.

Their love for each other seemed an endless fire burning but in the end, differences split them apart. As Diego drives away in anger, he recalled Perry in a memento of her found in his car and for a split second as he lose his focus on the road, he crashed his car down a cliff.

At the end part of the music video, Perry was driving an old car similar to Luna's and went to the place where he met his death. As she looked over the cliff, her young love appears vivid against the sunlight holding her hand and remembering a love that once was.
